It is sourced directly from the plant in its natural environment and contains NO artificial ingredients. This allows you to enjoy the maximum health benefits from the essential oil as it burns.
Our current collection includes our ‘Relax’, ‘De-Stress’ and Limited Edition Christmas ‘Togetherness’ Candle.
To keep them looking and working their best, follow our tips to enjoy the pure essential oil scent experience and maintain their quality for longer.
How to burn your candle
1. Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts or fans, which can contribute to rapid, uneven burning. Our candles shouldn’t cause any sooting on walls or ceilings.
2. Burn the luna 30cl candles for a maximum of 4 hours at a time or until the wax has pooled to the edges. Burning for a shorter time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', which leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel's sides and can reduce the total burn time. Burning for a longer time (over four hours) can cause the candle to become unstable or the wick to move. Our luna candles burn for approx. 40 hours.
3. Make sure you stop burning your candle when 5mm of wax remains at the bottom of the glass, keeping an eye on your burning candle when the wax is getting low.
How to care for your wick
1. Keep the candle wax pool clear of any debris including wick trimmings and matches, as they can act as a secondary wick which can encourage your candle to burn faster.
2. After extinguishing the flame with a snuffer, centre and straighten the wick. Burning for too long can cause the wick to move, or slant. If you see a flaming wick come close to the vessel wall, extinguish the flame and straighten the wick to prevent the vessel from cracking.
3. Untrimmed wicks can create high flames, mushrooming, or sooting. Once the wax is cooled and set, trim your wick to 5mm after each burn to prevent this from happening.
